Our parish is a vibrant community where everyone is invited to serve, grow in faith, and belong. Through our ministries and groups, parishioners participate actively in the life of the Church and support one another in spiritual and social growth.

Choir

St. Mary's, St. Cecilia, Bakhaita choirs of Nyamitanga Cathedral. They; Lead singing during Mass Practices every Wednesdays and  Thursdays Open to youth and adults

St. Anthony of Padua

The St. Anthony of Padua Apostolate carries out an apostolate of prayer, charity, and faith by promoting devotion to St. Anthony, supporting the needy, encouraging Christian living, and strengthening the faithful through prayer and active participation in the life of the Church.

St. Joseph Catholic Men Association

The St. Joseph Catholic Men Association carries out an apostolate of faith, leadership, and service by promoting Christian family values, supporting parish activities, encouraging responsible fatherhood and moral living, and witnessing to Christ through unity, prayer, and charitable works.

Ushers

Ushers carry out an apostolate of hospitality and service by welcoming the faithful, maintaining order during liturgical celebrations, assisting worshippers, and helping create a prayerful, respectful, and inviting atmosphere in the Church.

Ministries strengthen the spiritual life and mission of the Church by promoting evangelization, prayer, unity, and service to the community. Organizations such as the Legion of Mary and the Association of Religious in Uganda support parish activities, care for the sick and vulnerable, encourage Christian living, and help spread the Gospel through dedicated service and witness to Christ’s love.

Legionaries

The Legion of Mary is a Catholic lay movement dedicated to serving God through prayer, evangelization, and charitable works under the guidance of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Members visit families, the sick, and those in need, promote the faith, support parish activities, and encourage devotion to the Rosary and active Christian living.

Lay Faithful

The Association of Religious in Uganda brings together Catholic religious sisters, brothers, and priests committed to serving the Church through prayer, evangelization, education, healthcare, and charitable works. The association promotes unity, spiritual growth, collaboration, and support among religious communities in carrying out their mission of witnessing Christ in society.

St. Jude

The St. Jude Apostolate carries out an apostolate of faith, prayer, and hope by encouraging devotion to St. Jude, supporting those facing difficulties and hopeless situations, promoting Christian living, and strengthening believers through prayer, charity, and participation in the life of the Church.

Crusaders

Crusaders carry out an apostolate of prayer, evangelization, and service in the Church by promoting Christian values, encouraging devotion and participation in liturgy, supporting parish activities, and reaching out to the needy while witnessing to Christ through disciplined and faithful living.

Alter Servers

Altar Servers carry out an apostolate of service at the altar by assisting the priest during liturgical celebrations, promoting reverence and active participation in worship, and witnessing to Christ through discipline, prayer, and dedication to the life of the Church.

Church Dancers

Altar Dancers carry out an apostolate of praise and worship by using sacred dance to glorify God, inspire prayer, support liturgical and church celebrations, and express faith while encouraging spiritual participation among the faithful.
