Parish Projects

Our parish projects are practical initiatives aimed at promoting self-reliance, supporting community welfare, and generating income for the growth of the parish. Through activities such as farming and livestock rearing, these projects provide food, create opportunities for skills development, and help fund pastoral and social programs. They reflect our commitment to stewardship, sustainability, and service to the community.

Banana Plantation Project

The Banana Plantation Project is an agricultural initiative aimed at promoting food security and generating income for the parish. Bananas, being a staple food in the region, are grown both for consumption and sale. The project provides employment opportunities to community members while supporting parish activities through the proceeds. It also serves as a learning center where parishioners can acquire modern farming skills and sustainable agricultural practices.

The Vegetable Growing Project is designed to enhance nutrition and provide a steady source of income for the parish.  The produce is used to support parish events and vulnerable members of the community, while the surplus is sold to generate income. The project also encourages households to adopt kitchen gardening for improved livelihoods.

Piggery Project

The Piggery Project is a livestock initiative focused on rearing pigs for income generation and community support. The project helps raise funds for parish development programs while also offering practical training in animal husbandry. It empowers local families with skills in pig rearing, breeding, and management. The sale of pigs and pork products contributes to the financial sustainability of the parish.
