Today, the Catholic Church joyfully celebrates the Feast of Corpus Christi, a solemnity dedicated to the Real Presence of Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist. Through this celebration, the Church professes her faith that Christ is truly present; Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity in the consecrated bread and wine received during Holy Mass.
Corpus Christi invites all the faithful to deepen their love for the Eucharist, the source and summit of Christian life. It is a time of thanksgiving for Christ’s gift of Himself and a reminder to live in unity, charity, and service to others, nourished by His presence.
Theme: “I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever.” (John 6:51)
May this celebration strengthen our faith in the Eucharist and draw us closer to Christ, who remains with us always.
