Our Sister Parish - St. Susanna Catholic Parish Mason Ohio

Matthew 25:35–40

“For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me…
Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”

Projects Supported

The St. Sussana Community in the United States of America generously supported the renovation of the Cathedral and the purchase of new pews, contributing to the restoration and beautification of the church interior while improving seating for worshippers during liturgical celebrations. Their assistance helped enhance the dignity, comfort, and sacred atmosphere of the Cathedral, reflecting their commitment to strengthening the local Church and preserving its worship space for present and future generations.

In addition, the St. Sussana Community in the United States of America extended their generosity to the construction of the new parish offices, providing vital support that made the project possible. This contribution has helped the parish establish well-structured administrative facilities that will improve coordination of activities, strengthen service delivery, and enhance the overall effectiveness of pastoral administration.

Scholarships for the training and welfare of catechists at St. Kalemba Ibanda were made possible through generous support from the community in the United States of America, enabling the formation of well-equipped catechists who are essential in teaching and nurturing the faith. This assistance has improved access to training programs, enhanced their welfare, and strengthened catechetical ministry within the parish, contributing to a deeper and more effective transmission of the Catholic faith in the community.

The construction of new classroom blocks in primary schools within the parish has significantly improved learning conditions for pupils by providing safer, more spacious, and better-equipped classrooms. These developments have created a more conducive environment for quality education, strengthening both academic performance and the overall formation of learners within the parish community.

The provision of water tanks in schools within the parish has greatly improved access to clean and safe water for learners and staff. This initiative has enhanced hygiene and sanitation, supported better health conditions in the school environment, and ensured a more reliable water supply for daily school activities.
