The Archdiocese of Mbarara held a three-day formation workshop for catechists from across the Diocese at Karama, from 2nd to 4th September 2026, aimed at strengthening their family life and enriching their ministry of evangelization.
The workshop was officially opened by the Rev. Fr. Deudedit Twesigyeomwe, Pastoral Coordinator who encouraged the catechists to remain faithful and committed servants of the Church. Throughout the three days, participants received practical and spiritual formation on caring for their families, nurturing Christian values, and serving their communities with renewed zeal.
The seminar concluded with Holy Mass and a closing address by Rev. Fr. Severinus Ndugwa, the Vicar General, who thanked the catechists for their dedication and urged them to be joyful witnesses of Christ in both their homes and parishes.
