Today, the Catholic Church joyfully celebrates the Feast of Corpus Christi, a solemnity dedicated to the Real Presence of Jesus
Nyamitanga Parish was officially established in the early 20th century as missionary work expanded. It served as a central mission station for surrounding areas, helping to spread Christianity across Ankole. The parish became known for its strong emphasis on catechism and formation of local Christians.
